Please be responsible! Chalking can be considered as vandalism, in some cities chalking is legal; on your own property. Other cities outlaw chalk entirely. Check with local regulations for guidance. Be friendly towards younger audiences, if it's questionable, rethink it before chalking.
Chalk something that expresses what you're trying to say. It should be something that makes you feel you, and makes others feel the same.
Should I use washable chalk?
Permanent chalk is extremely difficult to omit, and makes a mess. We recommend purchasing washable chalk that lasts until the rain comes with a new day.
Can I post pictures online?
Sure! Post pictures online of chalk and tag #ChalkToWalk on your favorite social media platform. However, don't take pictures of people or chalk without permission.
We thought about one thing that made people happy and nostalgic, chalk. We crunched out the logistics and founded ChalkToWalk.org. We wanted to put in the work and create an organization that really made an impact.
